[Tucked up on a fire escape, he waits for Leo to hopefully pop up. Sitting with his legs dangling off the side, arms loosely crossed over the lower half of the railing. His presence might not be obvious to anyone just walking by, but he wouldn't be hard to spot if someone was looking for him. A duffle bag stuffed with clothes and supplies he'd snuck into Central City with him is set tightly beside him.]
[And pop up Leo does, pretty soon after their scheduled time to meet. He's actually up on the roof, so he ends up leaning his head over the fire escape and whistling at him.]
[The sudden whistle from above catches Danny off guard enough to get a yelp out of him. A knee nearly bangs into the lower rung of the railing in his mad dash to stand up and look up at the source of the voice. At the sight of the other boy, coiled stress bubbles out of him in a breathy laugh that he quickly forces himself to cut off.
Hot damn, Leo really wasn't kidding about being super sneaky! It's not often someone could manage to sneak up on him, especially when he's anticipating them. The last people to pull that off had been Joey, who was raised and trained by parents who were ex-military turned assassins, and Faraday...If Faraday had seen this he would have ripped into him and never let him live it down.
~ a press of cold metal to the back of his head "bang. you're dead kid." ~
One of many, many reasons to be glad he wasn't in this universe.
Leaving the duffle bag where it sat, he climbed the fire escape to join Leo on the roof, promptly giving him a teasing knock to the bicep with the side of his hand.]
[Forgetting everything for a while was exactly what Danny was aiming for. They just had to figure out how to break back out of here first. Getting in wasn't hard, but he suspected they didn't exactly care too much about keeping people out.]
Well, I came in from that way. There were only two people patrolling the area that I saw. One on the ground and one in the air.
[Over the rooftops in the direction Danny points tword, a figure can be seen. Far enough away they shouldn't be spotted by them where they're at, but close enough to see that the figure is using some form of jet pack.]
I figure we get past them, out'a the city, and we can teleport to Little Love.
[Easy peasy! So long as they didn't get caught.]
Not sure what all powers they got, but the one on the ground seems like they can sense people from about a 15 to 20-foot radius. They lost interest in me when I got far enough into the quarantine zone though, so I don' know how long they can track someone after they catch wind of 'um.
[Leo pays attention to this info, cataloguing it. Two people patrolling, one on foot and one in the air; shouldn't be too hard!]
Let's assume they can track for a pretty long time, just in case. The easiest thing to do is not get caught at all.
[Easier said than done, of course, but Leo sounds pretty confident.]
Usually I'd go by rooftop, but with that one flying around that won't help too much. We can take the streets, stay in shadow, and try to stay out of that tracker's range. [He grins.] Should be a piece of cake!

Leo snickers, allowing the knock. He deserved that.]
Heh, sorry! Didn’t want to be noticed around here.
[He bounces on his feet.] So where are we goin’? I’m so ready to get out of here.
[All the quarantine stuff and the censorship and Fantastic’s rise has got him feeling antsy. He’d like to forget it for awhile.
He did notice the duffle, so he wonders what that’s all about…]
